PALMA NOVA and MAGALUF

Palma Nova and Magaluf, which merge together at the Torrenova headland, are very popular family resorts with many hotels, bars, restaurants and discos. Both have the facilities for complete holiday enjoyment for young and old, though Palma Nova is the quieter of the two on the disco and ‘fun pub’ front.

Attractions include:
Aquapark – giant water slides etc; Go-karting - large track and fast karts; Ten-pin bowling - indoors and air-conditioned; Golf Fantasia - floodlit mini-golf in landscaped gardens, 3 x 18 hole courses; Marineland - dolphins and sea lions shows, a mini zoo and children’s playground.

In addition boat trips may be taken around Palma Bay, and there are plenty of buses to the capital for shopping and sightseeing.

Both resorts have traffic-free promenades and excellent beaches with watersports available. Magaluf boasts one of the biggest discoteques in Europe, the BCM, which is situated inland towards the rear of the resort. The BCM disco is quite chic and offers multi-level dancefloors, giant video screens and spectacular laser light shows.

About four miles to the west of Magaluf is Mallorca's Casino; offering Roulette - American and French, Black-Jack and Dice. Passports or residents' permits are required for entrance to the Casino.
